UE4 Minecraft Level
Below are pictures from my process making a level in Unreal Engine. My goal was to make it as modular and pixilated as the models in Minecraft. I took inspiration form Hyrules Field from Zelda the Minish Cap. Also I show some examples of some of the materials I animated. I creadted an emissive pulse for the castle door and roof. Also cycled coordinates of the water UVs down a specific axis.

3D Week 1 UE4
This week we went into Maya and made a beveled cube to scale beside a mannequin. We're taught to always make sure that you're object scaling is proportionate to produce cohesive art
After importing the assent into UE4, I went on to make some materials in the editor. Below are examples of the material I created and the different instances that are branched off of the initial Material. After grouping blocks together and creating a scene, I changed the skybox and build the lighting . The last photo is the little Poptart Island I created with the assets I made throughout the assignment.
